Faire La Bise Kids T-Shirt

Some call it the “air kiss.” Others call it the “kiss-kiss.” In France it is called “Faire la bise.” Whatever you call it, it wasn’t happening much since Covid entered our lives. Now, to resurrect this traditional greeting (in some parts) Saturday, April 22nd, has been declared International Faire La Bise Day. If nothing else, it is a refreshing news item compared to what we’ve been seeing lately. So, to honor the Faire La Bise tradition, and to recognize this newly christened date, here is my dry brush digital painting to help celebrate. Of course the painting is titled, “Faire La Bise.”
