The yellowed look of the paper is authentic. This pencil drawing was created in 1972. I drew this as a last-minute attempt to enter a local art show. I almost won. The judges were debating between this and an oil painting of a flower arrangement (by someone else). The lady who painted the flower arrangement won. I was 17 years old at the time. I think I "fixed" the pencil to the paper with hairspray and you can still see the blotchy evidence of that. If there is a deep hidden meaning to this I'd like to know what it is! (I'm an artist, not a psychologist!)
