On Saturday, May 26, 2012, we visited Manatee Springs State Park near Chiefland, Florida. Of course my dog, Hu, came along. Our friend, Doug Smith, also came along to enjoy the beautiful park. The weather was perfect and the park was buzzing with visitors of all ages. Robin and I set up near a park bench so we could see the canoe launching area. Doug set up his table-top easel on a picnic table near the swimming area. Many onlookers stopped by to say "hello" and chat with us. After we were finished painting we took Hu down to the canoe launching ramp and she went into the cool fresh water of the Suwannee River for a short moment. I got some fun video of her in the water.
