Plein Air Painting number 19 was not actually a plein air painting. I'm keeping it in the collection, though, because we "paid our dues"! We made the two mile trek on the Otter Springs Trail all the way to the Suwannee River lugging all of our art supplies and water. Hu, my dog, came along (of course). The pay off was worth it, though, because we ended at a beatiful stretch of the river. Robin decided to paint a picture of the river and I chose to paint the trail that led there. Because it was rather late in the day and because rain was threatening to fall (which it eventually did) we decided to take photos and then work from those photos at home.
