This is the third "Plein Air" pastel in the plein-air series that I am doing with Robin MacBlane. She and I are visiting different locations and then setting up our easels and painting whatever we see. She is using acrylics and I am using pastels. I have titled this one "Paynes Prairie Lake" because I didn't discover until after I came home that the lake we were capturing in art is named Lake Wauberg. It is located in the Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park in Micanopy, Florida. As with the first two plein-air painting field trips we took my dog, Hu. She seems to be enjoying the outings!
