My brother, Bob, died on Cinco de Mayo of 2019. Bob was 66 years old and was two and a half years older than me. He was always a car guy, a motorcycle guy, a mechanic and, most importantly, a wild and free spirit. Although he grew up in New York, Bob fell in love with the American Southwest. He particularly liked Yucca, Arizona, in TheMojave Desert. In his lifetime he owned numerous cars. At least two of them werePlymouth Roadrunners. In tribute to my brother, I painted this illustration depicting him driving his Roadrunner to the very isolated desert property where he had hoped to build a house and live one day.
