This is the sixth plein air pastel so far since my partner, Robin MacBlane, and I began our series of plein air paintings. This is a location very close to my home. It is called Tuscawilla Park and is located in Ocala, Florida. This was the first time we did our plein air artwork on a Sunday and also the first time we did not bring along my dog, Hu. We had to work on Saturday morning and then it rained Saturday afternoon. Then, on Sunday, we couldn't do the paintings until afternoon because of church with my Mom and my weekly luncheon with my son, Alex. So, since it is not always easy to find a location that permits dogs, we embarked on our plein air day without Hu. We'll make it up to her next time with special treats!
