This is a plein-air painting of the Towaliga River at the point where it passes through the High Falls State Park Campground. I was camping there with my friend, Robin, and her family. The day I painted this I went down to the river with Robin and her mother, Beverly, and the three of us all painted with gouache. It was a couple of days before Thanksgiving and the weather was a little cold (for us Floridians!) but we had a great time.
