This is plein air painting number 21. It was done on the beach at Treasure Island, Florida, on Saturday, February 18, 2012. Robin MacBlane and I visited Treasure Island to do our plein air paintings and, as always, we each did one. My dog, Hu, came along and enjoyed the sun and sand! It was a rather long drive but a fun day. We had no real plan to paint on Treasure Island. We ended up at this location after first heading to Clearwater to look for a plein air spot. We made our way south passing by many resorts and hotels and finally found this awesome spot. I hope the painting captures the serenity of the actual location.
