This is a painting of the designated spot where tubers exit the Rainbow River, in Dunnellon, Florida, after having floated usually four hours. The exit, as it exists today, is a nicely constructed boardwalk type of ramp. It is popular as both an exit point for tubers and an entrance point for canoers. In the early 1970s, when I tubed down the Rainbow River frequently, the exit point was simply a narrow dirt trail. I painted this digitally using Procreate with a dry brush.
