We live in Ocala, Florida. Ocala is known as the Horse Capital of The World. We recently had the treat of being able to watch as young equestrians were training to compete in barrel racing. Upon strolling the grounds at the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion I spotted this young woman and her horse who seemed to have a true bond. It was a beautiful thing to see. My reference photo for this painting came from a fleeting moment that I was lucky enough to capture in a video I made on my phone. I painted this in Procreate and used the dry brush for the entire painting.
