This is an oil painting done on location "plein air" style. It is the eighth piece of artwork in the plein air series that I am doing with my partner, Robin MacBlane. She also has now completed eight paintings. My first six were pastels. This one and the seventh one are both oils. Robin's first six were all acrylic paintings and her most recent two are also oils. It was a good day. It threatened to rain but turned out to be a beautiful July day. I brought along my dog, Hu.
